We started with brunch at Rainbow Grill. The Rainbow Grill has been in Grandville, MI since 1946. It was our first visit. I tried the Breakfast Taco special and Tammy had a Meat Lover’s Skillet. We find it hard to pass up Battered Mushrooms, so we added a side of those. The food was good. The service was great. All of the employees that we passed on the way out told us to have a good day.

After brunch we went to hunt mother nature in Millennium Park. Millennium Park is one of the largest urban parks in the US. We just found it last fall. We have not been there when the beach is in full swing. We saw lots of geese and robins. We concentrated on The Meadows area. That was a section of the park we had not explored. We liked the boardwalk and the highlight of that area was a hawk. After exploring the bridge and the boardwalk, we went across the street to the main park. There were lots of people out enjoying the park. People were walking, bike riding, fishing, and lots of families were enjoying the playground area. We saw ducks, geese, swans, and seagulls, and our highlight of the day a Loon.
